May 2, 2009 Spring Gala
Three lectures. Continental breakfast and lunch at the Allerton Hotel, 701 N. Michigan Ave., Chicago. 9:30 a.m.–3 p.m.

The public is invited to attend our free fall lecture and our annual Spring Gala.  You are welcome to join JASNA–GCR and receive invitations to all our meetings:

  • Winter book discussion and luncheon (February or March)
  • Gala (April or May):  full day of lectures by outstanding scholars and elegant repast
  • Summer event (July or August)
  • Fall lecture (free) (September)
  • Jane Austen Birthday Tea (December):  afternoon tea, birthday toast to JA, lecture, gift basket raffle
