Go Visiting

The Jane Austen Society of North America is our parent organization. This site has information on the Society, news, events, and publications. Several U.S. and Canadian regional groups are online.

The Regency Dances Org is a learning resource with more than 40 dances available for listening and viewing. The website includes musical recordings and dance notations, but the fun feature is the dances performed on the computer screen in animation.

The Republic of Pemberley is a wonderful world where fans of Jane Austen can gather to chat, publish and read sequels, and generally lose themselves in their Jane Austen obsessions.

Masterpiece on PBS.org has a downloadable Teacher's Guide that "offers ideas and tips on how to teach the works of Jane Austen, using film as another avenue into her world."
