Members of the Jane Austen Society of North America-Greater Chicago Region (JASNA-GCR) are readers who enjoy Jane Austen's fiction and come together throughout the year to share many pleasures:  discussing Jane Austen's novels, participating in our Readers Theater, presenting or listening to talks about her writing, life and era, and discovering the many facets of her legacy in fiction, philosophy and film.

The Jane Austen Society of North America–Greater Chicago Region is a regional affiliate of JASNA, the Jane Austen Society of North America.  We have five meetings each year.  The September meeting is free; there is a charge for other meetings.  Members receive a discount for events as well as our free, members-only newsletters and other mailings and emails.

Membership enrollment, renewal, and event registration can be completed online, at the links to the left, through our secure website under an agreement with 123Signup Association Management Solutions, a leading provider of online solutions for membership organizations.  You may use your Visa or MasterCard credit cards or print your invoice and mail it with your check made out to JASNA‑GCR.

The membership year for JASNA-GCR is September 1 through August 31.  Dues are $25 for an individual membership and $35 for a family membership.  Our charter requires membership in the national organization; the JASNA membership form is available online.
